Anyway first up I need to apologize for being shit. After a promising start I've been getting slower and slower at putting up these things. I'll try being less shit in the new year but no promises. I distract easily.

These two tunes are the sort of tunes I set this thing up for. You've probably never heard them and to get them on record would set you back like £50 each and thats if you could even find a copy.

3) Rcola - Nuttin A Go So
You can't fuck with this tune. Precision crafted to fuck up any dance.

4) FFF - Run For Cover
Run for cover soundboys FFF is in the house. Maybe a bit grimey for some but I love this tune.

5) Squarepusher - Ultravisitor
Normally Squarepusher is a antisocial bastard but this tune is simply beautiful. I always think of it as sounding like a bird flying through a city. If you've heard this tune before in the context of a album try listening to it as a stand alone track.

Sorry I've been properly slacking. Here's the second installment. 5 more nangy jungle tunes to shake your butt and blow your mind.

1) Rest Assured - Paulie Walnuts
One of the best jungle tunes that was never released

2) See You Smile - 16 Armed Jack
A bit cheesy but a grower.

3) Badman - Soundmurderer & Sk1
Sistine Chapel-esque. A bit hardcore for some though.

4) Tribal Natty ('97) - Tribe Of Issachar
A rare Congo Natty remix of Here I Come by Barrington Levy. There are about a million of these but this ones my favourite.

5) Not So Distant Drums - Enduser
Breakcore in a Bollywood stylee. This tune is rare as fuck so I only have a low quality version. If you have a hiqh quality mp3 I'd be grateful if you could mail it to me.

Colossus Dubplate Volume 1 - 27/06/08

Good jungle is hard to find if you don't know where to look. People always ask me to give them good jungle but I'm always to lazy to get around to it so I decided to set up this blog to share some of my hoard.

Basically the plan is every two weeks or so I'll give you 5 high-grade jungle slices. Some will be to your taste. Others won't. Some you may not even call jungle. The emphasis will be on ridiculously high-grade tunes and variety. If you like a tune research who made it and try finding some more of there shit. Or just download the tunes. Or don't. Your call.

2) Bust Outta This - 16 Armed Jack
16 Armed Jack using all his 16 arms.

3) You Don't Know - Aaron Spectre
Some punk jungle from Aaron Spectre. This is some Marmite shit that you'll either love or think "sounds emo".

4) Limb By Limb (Rewind Mix) - Soundmurderer & SK-1
Fact. Every jungle producer ever has attempted a remix of Cutty Ranks' Limb By Limb. This is one of the best.

5) Szamár Madár - Venetian Snares
A really beautiful track.
